Welcome

From its founding, Elite Sports Academy was built on the belief that exceptional training and education should be accessible to talented, motivated students — not limited only to those who can afford it. ESA was created to develop student-athletes who excel not only in their sport, but in character, discipline, academics, and leadership.

We believe that a rigorous academic program paired with elite athletic training has the power to transform lives, open opportunities, and prepare young people to lead with integrity both on and off the field. As part of this mission, Elite Sports Academy is committed to providing clear and transparent information about tuition and financial assistance to all prospective families.

Affording Elite Sports Academy

The cost of tuition should not prevent a qualified student-athlete from applying to Elite Sports Academy. Once an applicant is accepted based on their academic potential, athletic promise, and character, ESA is committed to partnering with families to explore need-based financial assistance options. (Please note that admission decisions are “need blind” and are not influenced by a family’s financial situation.)

Families may also pursue additional financial support through a variety of external sources, including need-based programs, merit-based scholarships, and School Tuition Organizations (STOs), which in some cases provide tuition assistance through state tax credit programs recommended specifically for your student.

(ESA) Program for Arizona Families

Elite Sports Academy is proud to be an approved private school under Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program. This initiative, administered by the Arizona Department of Education, offers eligible families state-funded scholarships to support their child’s education outside the public school system.

What is the ESA Program?

The ESA program provides Arizona families with 90% of the state funding that would have been allocated to their child’s public school education. These funds can be used for various educational expenses, including:

  • Tuition and fees at private schools like Elite Sports Academy

  • Educational therapies and services

  • Tutoring services

  • Curriculum and instructional materials

  • Standardized testing fees

By participating in the ESA program, families have the flexibility to tailor their child’s education to best meet their individual needs.

Who is Eligible?

Eligibility for the ESA program includes:

  • Students entering kindergarten

  • Students with disabilities

  • Children of active-duty military members

  • Students attending or assigned to a D or F-rated public school

  • Students residing on Native American reservations

  • Students who have previously received an ESA

Both the student and the applicant must be Arizona residents. Specific documentation is required to verify eligibility. For a comprehensive list of eligibility criteria and required documents, please visit the Arizona Department of Education’s ESA Eligibility Requirements page.

How to Apply

Families interested in applying for the ESA program can do so through the Arizona Department of Education’s ESA Application Portal. The application process involves submitting necessary documentation to verify eligibility. Once approved, funds are distributed quarterly and can be used to cover approved educational expenses.

School Tuition Organization (STO) scholarships are available to any K-12 student attending a qualified Arizona private school.  Families apply directly to an STO, with each STO setting its own application and eligibility requirements. Arizona law allows families to receive scholarships from multiple STOs up to the value of annual tuition.

If you choose to contact STOs, please remember that each has its own application and eligibility requirements. You can visit an STO’s website and/or contact them directly to determine those requirements. Please note that all financial aid monies received in your child’s name from one of these STOs, or from any other scholarship source, will be applied directly to their tuition account at Elite Sports Academy.
