A letter from our Executive Director:
Hello Falcon Families!
We are off and running into our second quarter and headed towards the end of the semester already! I love seeing the academic progress in our student athletes in addition to their development.
Yesterday we had Aaron Alther former Philadelphia Phillies and Major league baseball players speak to our student athletes. Aaron won the minor league Golden glove award in 2015 committing zero errors that season. The amazing part of his communication to our athletes is that he’s a locally formed baseball player coming out of Agua Fria high school. This is the second opportunity for our athletes to hear from a former Arizona high school student that has been successful in their athletic journey.
We are 10 days away from our inaugural basketball doubleheader on November 2nd! Both the boys and girls teams will be competing that night. The girls playing at 5:30 PM the boys playing at 7:30 PM. Don’t forget our tailgate starting at 4:00 right after school. This game is a blackout event. Blackout T-shirts will be for sale on a first come first serve basis for $20 at the tailgate. Let’s BLACKOUT the stands and cheer our Falcons onto their very first victories . We also really need your help to volunteer for the tailgate event! Please sign up at this LINK to to RSVP and this LINK to volunteer.
Today was our first dollar for duds event. It was incredibly successful for those that chose to participate and not wear uniforms! Next Thursday the 29th, we will have the same format. Bring your dollars for duds to support the school homecoming/BLACKOUT GAME. If your student brings $3, they can wear jeans (no holes or rips) OR a non-polo shirt. If they want to be excused from both khaki shorts or pants and a polo shirt, bring $5 and wear a school, appropriate shirt and pants that is not a school uniform.
Please mark your calendars for a save the date for our inaugural Falcon Golf Tournament. January 22, we will be hosting our first scramble at the Phoenix Biltmore.
Quarter 2 ESA funds are now available, and invoices have been sent out. Please be sure to upload your invoices and process payments promptly. Additionally, please take care of any outstanding balances from quarter one.
Have a great weekend!
GO FALCONS!

Executive Director
