A letter from our Executive Director:
Hello Falcon Families!
Can you believe this week brings us to the end of our first quarter? Our students have worked so hard in the classroom and on the playing surface. We’ve seen so much growth in personal discipline, academic success, and skilled development. We hope you are seeing these changes at home as well.
This week we had a current women’s basketball player at the collegiate level address our students. Aviva Schnitzer, the co-owner of Herway, Recruiting, talked to our Falcons about eligibility, multiple collegiate options, other than division one and how to strive academically to obtain that goal of playing at the collegiate level.
We also had our NCAA certification established this week. All high school students should be working on their NCAA eligibility by getting established in the eligibility center. You will see the link HERE with step-by-step instructions on how to do this. This is for high school students only.
Next week is fall break. The weight room and recovery center will be open every day from 9 to 11 AM. It’s a great opportunity for students to get some recovery in and keep some strength training while also enjoying some balance of just being a teenager and enjoying life. Downtime is incredibly important, especially after the academic rigor of this past week with many exams.
I hope you all have a great fall break and enjoy some family time!
GO FALCONS!
Samantha Ezell
Executive Director
