A letter from our Executive Director:

Hello Falcon Families!

We had a great first week back from fall break. I hope everyone enjoyed some time off and our students received some brain and body breaks. Both are very important.

We kicked off this week with a guest speaker from Mayo Clinic. Meghann Davis is an administrator in the department of orthopedic surgery. She talked to our students about her journey as a Division I soccer player and resiliency through injuries.

This weekend, our boys basketball team kicks off their season in Seattle! We are off and running and can’t wait to have them home at the Falcons Nest for our homecoming game November 2nd! Please mark your calendars for that day, it will be a HUGE event for Elite Sports Academy not just as our inaugural competition for our school, but we will have a tailgate celebration as well. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS DAY ELITE! Our PTO is planning a very special tailgate, but we need your donations and your RSVP’s. We want to make sure we plan for every parent and every student for our barbecue at the tailgate. Please click on this link for details and sign up.

October 22 and October 29, we have dollars for duds. If your student pays $5 for both top and bottom or $3 for one item, they can dress down for the day. Please no ripped up or holes in the pants/jeans. Dress code standards are still required. The dollars for duds help contribute to funding our tailgate and homecoming.

If you’re interested in carpooling, please click this link. I know many of you are anxious to find folks nearby to help alleviate our Metro Valley traffic.

Please mark your calendars for a save the date for our inaugural Falcon Golf Tournament. January 22, we will be hosting our first scramble at the Phoenix Biltmore.

Finally, I know many of you have requested time for your athlete in the rest and recovery room. We now have a schedule in place to ensure that every athlete is in the recovery room at least once a week. Please remember that rest and recovery at home is also very important. Our Falcons’ young bodies need time to recoup.

Have a great weekend

GO FALCONS!
